My name is Matthew Clark and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut. I have been involved with mental health treatment since 2009 beginning as a unit coordinator in clubhouse model programs in the Springfield, MA region. While working in Massachusetts I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from American International College and began working with Community Mental Health Affiliates in New Britain, CT.  There I worked as a vocational counselor and ended as a clinician with the CT Offender Re-Entry Program through the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.  I provided individual counseling and transition assistance to individual being released from the Department of Corrections with mental health concerns.  I also treated adolescents through adults dealing with various issues at Hartford Psychological Services in Hartford, CT.

I specialize in treating clients who have symptoms of depression, anxiety, needing vocational assistance and individuals who have difficulties dealing with post traumatic stress and grief.  I also provide general wellness counseling and life skill development
