Hi, my name is Casey Clark, and I am a certified financial counselor trained by the Dave Ramsey team. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City.  My wife, Lisa, and I have a heart to help others take control of their money and change their family tree.

I had worked in the financial service industry for 10 years when I had a life changing experience. An opportunity in another state presented itself that I couldn't refuse. This was my ticket to the top. Lisa and I packed our bags and moved to Las Vegas in order for me to assume a management position.

Although I was being paid to help others manage their money, I had no idea how to manage my own. We lived paycheck to paycheck and had no solid financial plan for the future and no savings.

We had bought a house in Salt Lake with no money down and then took out another loan to pay off other bills. This left us owing more on our house than it was worth. When we moved to Las Vegas, it took over a year for our house to sell, and we were at the brink of bankruptcy.

During this same time, God brought two special boys into our lives, and we became foster parents. I still remember the first night Kyle and Devin were with us. I couldn't sleep, because I had no idea how I was going to pay for college, cars, weddings, and other expenses that came with being a parent.  Without help, I could see them ending up in the same financial mess. I knew we needed help but had no idea where to get it.

Lisa and I had a friend tell us about a teacher named Dave Ramsey. We bought his book The Total Money Makeover and devoured it in less than 2 weeks. For the first time in our marriage, we felt the hope and security that a solid financial plan could bring. Even though we had a huge hole to climb out of, there was hope, because we had a plan. In a little over 3 years, we were able to pay off over fifty thousand dollars in debt, save an emergency fund of 6 months' worth of expenses and buy a house the right way.

During all this, God blessed us with two more foster children, Eathan and Jordan. Through the grace of God, four years later, we were able to adopt all four kids and move back to Salt Lake.

Going through this awful time in our lives birthed in us a desire to help others find financial freedom. It's not easy, but it's worth it. Let me help you find financial freedom.

Sincerely,

Casey Clark
