My name is Matthew Clark and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut. I have been involved with mental health treatment since 2009 beginning in a day program through today working toward bringing positive change to clients within the CT Department of Corrections and through Clark Counseling Services, LLC. I obtained my Masters in Clinical Psychology from American International College in Springfield, MA and am an active member of both the American Counseling Association and the CT Counseling Association. I currently specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, Borderline Personality, and Grief.
Clark Counseling Services, LLC started in 2016 with the goal of providing modern mental health treatment in a comfortable professional setting. We strive to create a unique counseling experience for our clients so they can leave therapy feeling fulfilled, confident in themselves and ready to face the life’s challenges. Mental health counseling is a very personal experience that needs to be tailored to a client’s specific needs and often those needs change and develop through the course of a therapy session. No one can predict how long therapy will take but the experience is often rewarding, empowering and life changing.
